Any open copied position is linked to the master trade. This means that, the open positions will close if the lead trader closes them. However, you still have the option to close the copied positions whenever you want and upon your own discretion.

Furthermore, you can set your own limits for copied trades, additional to any limits set by the leader, if any.

Therefore, a copied trade can be closed in any of the following situations, whichever takes place first:

  • when the leader closes his master trade,

  • when the copier closes his copied trade,

  • when the leader's Take Profit or Stop Loss limits are reached,

  • when the copier's Take Profit or Stop Loss limits are reached,

  • when either the leader's or copier's trade is closed due to Stop Out (the margin level of your trading account reached 50%).

❗️Note: any active position copied before you stopped Autocopying a user, will still be linked to the master trade as if the leader was active.
